Join YWCA St. John’s and the Young Women’s Collective in a panel discussion, exploring women’s roles in fishing in the past, present, and future. This panel discussion will be followed by an interactive learning experience around net knitting. Participants will come away with both a historical and contemporary knowledge of women’s vital role in Newfoundland and Labrador’s fishing industry. Cette table ronde sera suivie d’une expérience d’apprentissage interactive autour du tricot net. Les participantes repartiront à la fois une connaissance historique et contemporaine du rôle vital des femmes dans l’industrie de la pêche de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador.
