YWCA Québec. Donner la parole aux filles, un après-midi de tables rondes à la radio CKIA.

Dans le cadre de la journée internationale des femmes du 8 mars, nous organisons d’un évènement en collaboration avec la radio CKIA pour donner la parole aux filles. Le comité filles a préparé différentes tables rondes afin de favoriser l’expression des 10 à 15 ans sur des sujets qui les touches. Les filles de la communauté, qui ne sont pas dans le comité, sont aussi invitées à venir s’exprimer. Les capsules audio enregistrées seront diffusées sur les ondes de la station pendant les 2 prochaines semaines et sur les réseaux sociaux par les participantes et la Y de Québec. Il y a trois grands thèmes : les dépendances chez les ados (dont les jeux vidéos), la mode et les vêtements (sous différents angles), et c’est quoi être une fille en 2018 au Canada.

YWCA Quebec. Give the floor to the girls, an afternoon of roundtables on CKIA radio.

As part of the International Women’s Day on March 8, we are organizing an event in collaboration with CKIA radio to give the floor to girls. The girls committee has prepared various roundtables to promote the expression of 10 to 15 years on topics that touch them. The girls in the community, who are not on the committee, are also invited to speak. The recorded audio clips will be broadcast on the station for the next 2 weeks and on social media by the participants and the Y of Quebec. There are three main themes: addictions for teens (including video games), fashion and clothing (from different angles), and what it’s like to be a girl in 2018 in Canada.
